My trip to Chunghua

It was a holiday, I was so boring, so I decide to go to Chunghua to walk around to find my friend, Felix, who has been living in Chunghua for years.

That day was very hot, and I ride my bike and brought a bottle of water, then I was on my way.
At first I went to the wrong direction and lost my way. And I called Felix for help for the way to Chunghua, then I found the way and soon I got to Chunghua and met Felix. He was so kind that he treat me a lot of foods of Chunghua. After eating, we went to 八卦山 , the views there was so good that made I even didn't went home .鹿港 is also a great place that I like . The food there was so good and there was so many people.

It was a very good experince , I think I was already love this place.

My Favorite Sport

Basketball is my favorite sport. The first time I played basketball was in the senior high school. Since then I have always wanted to play basketball in PE classes. Sometimes, my classmates and I stayed after school and played basketball until the guard scolded us home. Even on holidays, we would wake up early and took bus to play basketball. This may be the reason why I am healthy and tall and have a strong body.

After entering the university I joined the school team. I began to learn many tactics and rules, and I grew to become a stronger player. Basketball is about teamwork, which is why I love basketball and my team.

My position is center, though I’m actually better at free throws and perimeter shooting than playing low post. My favorite player is Dirk Noritz. (Mine is Tim Duncan. May both teams have a nice, enjoyable game 7) He is also good at free throws and perimeter shooting, even at three-point shooting? In fact, he got the three-point shootout title in 2006. His best move is fade-away shot. Because he is 7-feet tall and in cooperate fade-away shot, almost no players can block his shot. (Almost, except in game 5)

Now I am the leader of the team, and I wish I could be better at this sport.

One of my unusual habits

People are sure to have or develop many unusual habits in their life time, and I am no exception. I am sure you’ve heard of people coming down with habitual diarrhea or cannot sleep before a major exam. As for me, I always clean my room before an exam!

I remembered the first mid-term in my freshman year, I took out my broom and mop and did a thorough cleaning one week before the exam. I started with my desk. Then I stripped down my bed and put the bed sheets and the pillow case in the washer. But what actually frightened my three roommates was that I even dismantled my electric fan, and cleaned the dust of the inner part, blade by blade!

When they asked me what I was doing and why, I wasn’t able to explain my action, which differs from ordinary people. Maybe it has something to do with my motivating character?? Anyway, when everyone’s busy with mid-term preparation, I was busy cleaning and dusting like it was the New Year! Thank God, one of my roommates was nice enough to pitch in and help me before I got exhausted from the cleaning. The funny thing is that until the end, we were both still wondering why we wasted all those time cleaning!

Now that I think about it, perhaps I just want to have a clean and enjoyable learning environment for me to study. Or maybe it’s just a way for me to calm down and put that nervous feeling out of my mind! In any case, my room has to be 100% clean before I can settle down and study. After hearing my unusual habit, aren’t you glad that you are not my roommate??

Movie of my life

Movie is one of my favorite I like to do when I am free. Movies reflect our regular life and our culture. There is no denying that go watching a move is relaxing and interesting for modern people. When it comes to movie, I always think it of more entertaining than watching boring program, reading books, and what not. As far as I concerned, my favorite movie is ''Mission Impossible"

How much to do with my favorite movie is I like the challenge of the characters. I think the exciting movie was a kind of method to loss stress, whenever I watching such movies, I can do what I can to save people from danger situation, especially saving a beautiful woman from the bad man. Secondly, I enjoy feeling the hurried condition. I can image if I were the bad man, what should I do next? And on the contrary, if I can be the here, how could I save them from quite a bad situation in a small period of time? According to what I mention above, it is exciting to feel the completely nervous environment. And what I can account for why my favorite movie is” Mission Impossible” is I can let the dream of save people's life come true in the imaging story of the movie!

Living in the world, we‘ve been working so long, including study the homework and be in a company. Except works in life, there should be more fun in our life. Relax is also an important part of life. I love listen to music in my free time. Music makes me relax and help me having more energy after a long day’s work. In so many kind of music, I love pop music best. Self Introduction

I am Koun-Wen Chen, 1988 was born in Tainan, where is known as a place with many delicious food and many historical spot. There are 4 members in my family: father, mother and a younger sister. My father works in Taiwan Power Company, and mother is a householder and loves traveling to broaden her horizon. I graduated from Tainan Second Senior High School and very gold to intend Chung Shan Medical University.


In my spare time, I like to read novels to enlarge my imagination
, science fiction especially. Harry Potter, a well-know novel, is one of my most loved novel. As for novels, I could imagine whatever I like such as a hero. In addition to reading, I also like to play PC games and to exercise. A lot of grownups think playing PC games hinders the students from learning. But I think PC games could motivate me to learn something such as English or Japanese. And exercise can also keep my health in good condition.


I hope to study both English and computer technology because I am interested in both of the subjects. I realized the importance of English and began to study diligently when I was fourteen. I did not start in my early age, but I hope that I could pass the test of General English Proficiency Test. And this is my best wish at the moment.
